Today was a bit hectic, a mix up with the cars meant we had to take a private taxi to work. This was promised in 20 minutes but an hour later we were still waiting (wasn’t really an issue, we were on our way to work!) I did spot this out of the corner of my eye, then remembered it had been corrupted and the original meaning was lucky or an auspicious object.
When the taxi arrived, we bundled in and faced the traffic, which I’m getting used to now. I tried to take a photo of the traffic, but this rather magnificent mo-hawked horse got all the attention (rightly so)
Unfotunately, it meant I was late for work, where they’d put on a presentation for us all and bought us all bouquets of flowers. I’ve never been given flowers before and it was a very thoughtful gesture!
